Glenda Love, associate, is a native north Tulsan who has spent most of her adult life in social service and non-profit organizations. She is a stickler for efficient reporting systems and strong fiduciary responsibility.

After 23 years as president/CEO of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Tulsa, she retired, only to be even more involved in community efforts. Under her leadership, the Ronald McDonald House completed a $2 million capital campaign that doubled the square footage of the original structure. She also established the OSU Medical Center Family Room, a daytime oasis inside the OSU Medical Hospital that provides respite for pediatric family members to take a break without leaving campus.

Glenda has received many awards and honors in her career and served on numerous boards and commissions. Her expertise has benefitted organizations such as MetCares Foundation, Inc. where she was instrumental in completing the feasibility study and research, board recruitment, development and fundraising. She is chairman of the Zarrow Families Commemoration advisory board and served as the capital campaign co-chair for the 1921 Race Massacre Centennial Commission. As co-chair for the Commission, she recruited members, provided guidance for establishing the mission, project clarity and timelines. Additionally, she led the group in achieving its $30 million fundraising goal.

In addition to serving as an advisory board member for Meals on Wheels of Metro Tulsa, she serves as a member of the organization’s capital campaign committee. She worked with the organization as it implemented its North Tulsa Initiative, which created a presence in the North Tulsa quadrant to create a “wellness hub” for families needing assistance with food and medical disparities. She is also a member of Leadership OK-XIX and a trustee at Metropolitan Baptist Church.
