Kelli Bruer joined the firm as an associate after a long career specializing in marketing and public relations in the private and public sectors. She has a wide range of experience across diverse industries ranging from tribal relations, entertainment and hospitality, manufacturing to healthcare. Her experience includes strategic planning, crisis communication, internal and external communications, media relations, media buying and special events.

Kelli’s diverse expertise also includes consumer research, business-to-business marketing, leading and developing teams, project management and government relations.

Prior to joining Schnake Turnbo Frank, Kelli was the vice president of marketing and communications for the Emergency Medical Services Authority (EMSA). She was responsible for all communications and public education for the authority covering 16 communities in the Tulsa and Oklahoma City metro areas. Kelli also worked for the Cherokee Nation, where she is an enrolled citizen, overseeing all public relations for the tribe’s casinos. Her significant experience in marketing and consumer research comes from years of experience as the marketing manager for the Bama Companies, where she served as a member of the sales and product development teams.

Kelli is a proud Tulsan and Native American. If you talk to her, she’ll most likely be singing Tulsa’s praises, asking if you’re registered to vote or discussing the latest shows on Netflix.

Education: Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in marketing from The University of Tulsa.

Passions: championing mental health, substance abuse treatment and criminal justice reform; reading, 70s music and late-night talk shows.
